Potty Training update/stories

So, many of the family knows that we're working a little on potty training. Jaxon is so smart and talks so much that I feel that he is ready. He doesn't like being in a dirty diaper wether wet or stinky and he does go when you put him on the potty. He doesn't however, tell you before when he needs to go. So this morning I decided that my son is so talented. In our guest/hall bathroom we have his little potty seat a few feet away from the big potty. Well, this morning I sit him on the big potty, and he's not to the point of knowing to hold his pee pee down, so it shoots right up and lands in the little potty, so essentially, he pee'd in both potties at once. I bet none of you mom's can say that your little boys can do that!!!! LOL. So I just had to share that with you. Whe he does go peepee on the potty he gets so proud of himself and announces it to the whole world.

Another funny potty training story is, recently every time we go out to a restaurant to eat, Jaxon always tells me he needs to go to the bathroom. Just in the past week or so has he actually started going when we go to the bathroom at a restaurant. Well, this past weekend we'd met Emily's mom to pick up Jaxon. Jaxon said he needed to go to the bathroom so I took him. Then grandma came with us. Jaxon announced to everyone in the bathroom that "Grandma go potty too" So, if you're in a bathroom at a restaurant and you hear someone announcing every little detail, it's probably me and Jaxon and just laugh and go on. He thinks he's funny when he does it so just go with it. I've learned not to get embarrassed anymore.
