SALONS, PAMPERED CHEF, FOSTER CARE, NEW JOB...NEEDLESS TO SAY, I'M BUSY

Just wanted to update everyone on what is going on right now.

We got the notice that DCFS will be out on Tuesday, September 15th to open our home for foster care. We are very excited, yet a little bit nervous with everything else that we have going on right now. We talked to some of our friends who went thru the classes with us and they have twin newborn boys at their house right now. We are very excited for them yet a little jealous. She said we could babysit anytime for them. But they have had several calls over the past few days to take kids so we feel we might be getting calls soon.

An another note, we are official salon owners now. We closed on the purchase of True Colors Salon in Centerton this past Wednesday. So far not much has changed in our lives of being salon owners.

We are still working on an opening date of October 5th for the Salon in Bentonville. It will be called Urban Image Salon and will be located at 2505 S Walton, Ste C, in Bentonville. We have most of the stuff in for it but have to put it all together obviously. With that said, if you are into putting stuff together and want to volunteer some time and are around Bentonville next weekend September 19th we are planning on spending a lot of time up there that day putting stuff together and decorating and seeing what all we need left to get.

I'm just kidding about that but would appreciate any prayers you could offer up for us during this time right now.

So, if all of that wasn't enough, I've decided to start selling pampered chef. I wasn't going to sign up right now but I held a show this past week and many of my friends were interested in having a show this fall so my consultant talked me into going ahead and doing it. I do have some of the best friends who are going to help get my business off and running and hosting parties for me. They may not know it yet, but they are going to. Lol.

Well, as you can see I don't have much time available to update this and now that I've gone back to work at Arvest I can't update things like this and keep up with facebook while at work. Which is probably a good thing but it makes it hard to keep up with what all is going on with everyone and keep everyone informed of what is going on with us as well.
