Crazy Times

Well, I know I haven't updated in awhile and I can explain. We have been very busy lately. Let me explain.

First, many of you already know, but in case you don't, I have started a new job, kind of. I'm now working back at Arvest where I was before I worked at DaySpring. I'm back in the Accounting department working with some of the same people I worked with before. I will be working 4 days a week with a day off to run errands, rest, etc.

Secondly, we are buying a hair/tanning salon in Centerton and opening another hair, nail, massage salon in Bentonville. I know this sounds a little out of the blue but Derek and I have always wanted to own a tanning salon and started looking seriouly into it and just called up the salon here in Centerton one day and asked if they wanted to sell, and they did. So, we're hoping to have that ownership change complete in the next couple of weeks.

We are planning on having the salon in Bentonville open mid-October.

So, as you can see, I have fairly valid excuses for not updating recently.

On another note, we are still waiting for our house to be opened for Foster care. We learned a few weeks ago that Derek's fingerprints have been in a backlog at the FBI so we are still pretty much just waiting on that and then our home will hopefully be opened and we can get some kiddos in to love on.
