Well, we had our ultrasound yesterday, Monday June 16th. We didn't find out the sex of the baby so it's still a surprise. I don't think we could have if we wanted to though. The baby had it's legs crossed almost the entire time. The sonographer said the baby was very stubborn. Every time she would try to get a picture of it's face, it would turn away or put it's hands over it's face. I can tell this baby is going to be complete opposite of Jaxon. He's not shy and he was happy to show off when we had our ultrasound with him.
So, now, onto the more serious stuff. They said that there was a large amount of amniotic fluid, my placenta was thick, and the baby seemed to be measuring small so they're wanting to do what they call a level 2 ultrasound. Unfortunately for us, there are only 2 places in Arkansas that do level 2 ultrasounds. One at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock and the other being at the extension school at Fayetteville. Unfortunately, they can get us in quicker at Little Rock so we are having to go to Little Rock for a second, more detailed ultrasound on Thursday.
So, please pray for us as we leave Thursday morning and head to Little Rock. Our dear friend Connie is going to pick Jaxon up from DayCare for us so that we aren't rushing home. Thank you so much Aunt Connie. Our appointment is at 1:15. I'm guessing it'll last an hour, hour and a half and then we'll be on our way home, hopefully.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated. We love you all!!!!
